We believe that God is calling us to invite people into a deeper relationship with Christ, that all may discover true peace and be prepared to follow Him in compassionate service.

Invite, Discover and Follow
If you are looking for a dynamic, energetic and growing congregation that cares about your spiritual health, you've come to the right place.

As our mission statement says, "We believe God is calling us to invite people..." and so we invite you to our worship services and all of the various spiritual growth activities that Shalom sponsors. We plan every week for your visit and we trust you will find our worship services and other scheduled activities to be warm, welcoming and relevant to your life.

The purpose of our welcome (and all that we do) is "to invite you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ." We believe God's Holy Spirit works through worship, study, Christian service and spiritual friendships, to bring us closer to the heart of God.

This deeper relationship has two primary outcomes. First, in relationship with Christ, we "discover peace:" peace with God, peace with others, and peace with ourselves. (Our name "Shalom" means peace and wholeness in Hebrew.) Second, as we "grow deeper in relationship with Christ," we find ourselves drawn to "follow Him in lives of compassionate service." We believe each person is unique and has God given abilities that can be used to love and serve others. We strive to identify our unique spiritual gifts, and where God is calling us to use them.
