Alt for Norge
Thursdays - July 1, 8,
15, 29: 7:00 PM
Thursday evenings in July, we will be airing the eight episodes from the Norwegian reality show that Pastor Aaseng participated in last spring. Each evening two 45 minute episodes will be shown, with a brief intermission between episodes. Pastor Grant will also share some of his thoughts during this time.
A free will offering will be taken each evening to support Pastor Grant's education fund. In addition, the concession stand proceeds will benefit the Shalom youth, Spirit of Shalom, choir, and Shalom's general fund.
Hero Headquarters
August 15-19: 6-8:30 PM
Vacation Bible School will be
held again in August. Last year was a big success and this
year promises to be just as fun and exciting. You can register by
dropping off a registration form at church or you can register online at
Vacation Bible School.
There will be a VBS volunteer meeting on
Thursday August 5th at 7 pm.
Rally SundaySunday - September 12
Join us on Rally Sunday to kick-off the start of the new year. Worship times remain unchanged (8:30 and 10:45). Sunday School and Adult Education run during the Fellowship hour 9:40-10:30.
This year promises to be exciting with new small groups forming (sign up in the narthex area) and new activities for the youth including:

(includes GO! after-school program,
choirs, supper for youth, Confirmation/YADA)
Faith Milestone Ministry
(a ministry to celebrate various milestones and deepen the child's faith)
The Gospel According to
St. Matthew
Thursdays - beginning August 26: 10 AM
Pastor Grant will be leading a new Thursday
morning Bible study series beginning August 26th. All are welcome to join
in on this time of study and fellowship.
